10:00am:
Hall opens for displays to be set up etc.

10:30am:
A choice of walks of between about 4 and 6 miles from the hall.

12:30pm:
Lunch
In the hall (bring your own picnic - tea, coffee etc. available - alternatively there is a pub in the village and several more are within a mile or so) and an opportunity to look at displays about the other Berkshire groups and their activities, and to chat with other members

A talk by Dr John Oversby “Air Quality - Does it Need Improving, Even for Ramblers?”

Taking a positive approach, the talk surveys urban and rural air quality, looking at improvements in monitoring, and action taken and planned to reduce pollution to achieve a healthy environment for all. John is a European researcher in chemistry and environment education. He works for Science Education Futures consultancy.
